Oblique Strategies (Brian Eno & Peter Schmidt)

Pablo Gorostiaga is a Producer, Mix Engineer, Recording Technician and Multi-Instrumentalist. He was born in Misiones, Argentina, and developed the majority of his carreer as a musician and producer in Buenos Aires’ underground scene.

Pablo completed his studies at EMBA (Escuela de Música de Buenos Aires) and the London Academy of Music Production and has performed in festivals across Latin America, Europe and the United Kingdom.

As a member of the neo-psychedelic group “Hurricane Heart Attacks”, he shared the stage with bands like The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Dandy Warhols, The Black Angels, Holy Wave, Träd Gräs Och Stenar, A place to bury strangers, The Telescopes and others.

All of these places and experiences are present in the textures and layers of Pablo’s hybrid mixes, which combine the warmth of the analog world with the facilities of digital tools.

Currently based in Barcelona, Pablo works in different studios, always choosing the best gear and aesthetic to suit the productions, recordings or mixes he is working on.
